Additionally the club voted to send letters to U.S Senate leaders, the U.S. President, and U.S. Representives to urge them to support the Costigan-Wagner Act, which was an anti-lynching bill. The bill was sponsored by the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
