In German, the caption reads : "Ein Mittel weiß ich, wunderbar, das führt zum ew'gen Frieden, - Ein Austausch ist's: Victoria, sie nimmt die armen Jüden, - Und über Irland's Söhne darf der Russen Czar gebieten, - Als Straßenkehrer nehmen wir den Mann vom sonn'gen Süden. - Auf diese Weise wird der Welt die Ruhe bald beschieden." The text proposes an exchange of emigrants. Under Quotations: "England - Jews in demand." The caricature depicts Queen Victoria taking two Jews under her arms.
