A color scan of a scrapbook page with four special orders. One order relieves Everson of his command of unassigned recruits or corps at Camp Bradford. The other three special orders name Everson as Officer of the Day at Camp Cadwalader. Everson comments on the unusual number of Officer of the Day orders and reveals that one of the regiments in the rendezvous had started a mutiny because their discharge was delayed and drove out all officers and planned on firing at some buildings. Everson was short-staffed and gave a musket to anyone who could stand--even those in the hospital. They held their barricade from 9 pm to 1 pm of the next day when a regiment arrived from Washington D.C.

The newspaper clipping is from the ""Army and Navy Journal"" and is on the topic of addressing officers in volunteer service during the Civil War. The photographs are of Everson's mother, father, brother and sister and include information like date of birth, accomplishments and deaths. "
