3 1/2" X 2 1/2" image with 'Millwood, flooded under Lake Santee' handwritten on reverse. Caption known to be in error. This image is not Millwood, but Millford in Sumter County. Millwood was burned at the end of the Civil War and was not flooded by the Santee-Cooper Project. The ruins of Millwood are still visible and open to the public. Image shows the front of a large house built in Greek Revival style, at least two stories, with columns.
5" X 7" image of a gate at an unidentified plantation. This is the opposite view as in MK 245a and MK 245b, note that the eagle is facing the opposite direction. Also there is a bell attached to the column on the right. There is a structure just visible to the right, up the drive.
