Nathaniel Heyward writes to his grandson James B. Heyward with instructions about a presenting a draft for money from a Boston Merchant to pay for his schooling. He is glad to hear that James is engaged in his studies but cautions that he wants him to return to home a learned gentleman and not a "book worm."
