The lists include the first name of the child, their parents, date of birth and occasionally includes notes of death or if purchased by another slave owner. This book contains a second use written upside down and back to front.

The A.B Flagg Medical Day Book, 1792-1853, is the medical account of Doctor Arthur Belin Flagg. This book includes descriptions of medical treatments and a list of fees for medical services for plantation families and slaves. The details includes the names of the plantation owners and the names of the enslaved peoples. Also recorded in this account book is Dr. Flagg's visit to the military location Camp Magill in Waccamaw, South Carolina to treat wounded soldiers during the Civil War in 1861.The last section of the book was written starting from the back of the book resulting in upside down pages. Meeting minutes volume kept by the Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim Trustees of the New Burying Ground, 1798-1799. Entries in this volume concern discussions regarding the proposal to purchase land at Hampstead, in Charleston, S.C., for the construction of a new burial ground to be used by the KKBE congregation. The volume also includes entries discussing the plans for the layout of the burial plots for the new burying grounds.

The Frederick Fraser Receipt Book, 1793-1816, is a bound journal consisting of receipts for Frederick Fraser written by numerous merchants, family members and acquaintances Receipts include payments made for purchases, taxes, bonds, store accounts, pew rentals at church, cotton bagging, and the sales and purchases of enslaved men and women.
Includes day-to-day management of Drayton plantations, (particularly Drayton Hall, Jehossee and Long Savannah), focusing on crops, livestock, labor, and the movement of these between estates. Charles describes (in brief) meeting and dining with President George Washington, receiving plant specimens from Thomas Jefferson, a visit from Andre Michaux, the winding up of Bob Savannah plantation, lease of plantation on the Wateree River, abuse of slaves, sending slaves from Drayton Hall to reside at Jehossee, family deaths, division of the deceased's estates and family acrimony.
The Fairfield Plantation Book, 1775-1794, is a clothing and blanketing book containing the names of enslaved persons (1773), children born at the plantation (1775), a list of clothes, blankets and tools given out to enslaved persons (1773-1775), cattle and hog inventory, lists of births and deaths of enslaved persons (1792-1797), and lists of enslaved families at Fairfield and Wappoo Plantations (1773-1797). The book contains a second use written back to front and upside down.
