The A.B Flagg Medical Day Book, 1792-1853, is the medical account of Doctor Arthur Belin Flagg. This book includes descriptions of medical treatments and a list of fees for medical services for plantation families and slaves. The details includes the names of the plantation owners and the names of the enslaved peoples. Also recorded in this account book is Dr. Flagg's visit to the military location Camp Magill in Waccamaw, South Carolina to treat wounded soldiers during the Civil War in 1861.The last section of the book was written starting from the back of the book resulting in upside down pages.
