Transcript of an oral history given by Millie Brunson, with recollections of childhood bookmobile experiences and detailed information about Bookmobile Librarian Mrs. Mamie Dell Garris Smith.
A collection of five maps and three charts describing land owned by Jonah Horry in South Carolina. The first four maps were drawn from surveys made by John Goddard in 1793; the last map was drawn from a survey made by John Horry Dent in 1836.
This ledger contains the handwritten minutes of meetings of the Colleton County Highway Commission between March 13, 1911, and May 14, 1932. Topics discussed include appointment of board members; budgeting, bidding, and awarding of contracts for the construction and maintenance of roads and bridges; lists of chain gang workers and supplies; property sales, including rights-of-way; claims for damages; jail maintenance; placement of telephone poles; and various other road-related issues.
This scrapbook is comprised of newspaper clippings, photographs, postcards, and other documents related to the Walterboro Chapter of Future Farmers of America.
