United Methodist Church minister Wiley Barrow Cooper (b. 1942) was born in Greenville, South Carolina. In addition to his pastoral work, he had a long career in human services. He explains why he became involved, his role as a volunteer counselor, and the problems women faced during that time in South Carolina.
