- This book contains records of the names of yearly renters and the rents paid, a detailed record of all monetary transactions taking place on the plantation, both money received and money paid out as well as who it was paid to and for what purpose it was paid, these records date from January 1870 to December 1870. It also contains records of the the disposal of rum, sugar and molasses from the crop of 1870. The last four pages of the book consists of a detailed list of cattle and the increases and decreases of both cattle and mules. Note that the book was flipped and these last four pages were started from the back which became the front for this sequence. This appears to be a method used to make a separate record sequence.
3. Newton Cash Book 1871-1872

- This book contains records of monetary transactions that took place on the plantation from February 4th 1871 to August 2nd 1872. It includes records of monies received for rent, from the sale of cattle and other livestock and other goods such as potatoes etc. It also includes monies paid to labourers, carpenters, masons and the engine driver as well as payment for supplies for use on the plantation.

- This book contains detailed records of monetary transactions on the plantation which included accounts payable and accounts receivable. Some of these transactions included items which the plantation credited from suppliers such as lumber and oil and the accounts receivable included accounts of persons who purchased items produced on the plantation and also persons renting land from the plantation. An account of the delivery schedules and the shipment of the sugar and molasses. Also included was documentation of increases in cattle and mules on the plantation.

- This book contains records of monetary transactions that took place on the plantation from January to December 1873. It includes records of monies received for rent, from the sale of cattle and other livestock and other goods such as potatoes etc. It also includes monies paid to labourers, payment for supplies for use on the plantation. In addition to payments to companies like Alleyne Arthur and Nightengale and Company there are several payments to "Middle School."
