About the Collection
The Summerville Museum and Research Center Pamphlet Collection consists of pamphlets published during the 1800s and early 1900s. The pamphlets cover numerous topics, including anti-abolition arguments from slaveholders, histories of the Battle of Fort Sumter, and histories written by Secretary of the Historical Commission of South Carolina Alexander Samuel Salley.
