About the Collection
The Martha Mondschein Bauer Papers consists of a collection of black and white family photos taken before the start of World War II. Also included in the collection is a 1946 memo from the United Jewish Communities of Yugoslavia confirming the death of Martha Mondschein Bauer’s brother, Rene Mondschein, a telegram wired to Felix Bauer, 1940, and a letter from Martha Bauer to Eileen Chepenik concerning the unknown fate of her aunt and uncle, Risa and Rudolf Bauer, 2000.
