Philip Randolph Institute] President\n\nSUBJECT: Temporary Resignation\n\nPlease be informed that effective immediately, I will be unable to serve you\nin the capacity of State and the Local President of the APRI [A. Philip Randolph Institute]. My resignation\ncomes as a result of my announced candidacy for County Council Seat.\n\nThis resignation is only temporary until October or November depending upon\nthe election results. James Haigler, Vice President will resume [sic] the position\nas President on the State level, locally Charles Dingle will serve as the\nCharleston APRI [A. Philip Randolph Institute] President.\n\nThere will also be a state meeting in Columbia, S. C.
