This book contains records of monetary transactions that took place on the plantation from January to December 1873. It includes records of monies received for rent, from the sale of cattle and other livestock and other goods such as potatoes etc. It also includes monies paid to labourers, payment for supplies for use on the plantation. In addition to payments to companies like Alleyne Arthur and Nightengale and Company there are several payments to "Middle School."
