This interview with Mrs. Arlonial DeLaine Bradford details many of her experiences growing up and raising children during integration in the south. As the niece of civil rights icon, Reverend Joseph A. DeLaine, Mrs. Bradford gives firsthand and intimate accounts of his successes and struggles throughout the school desegregation movement. Mrs. Bradford also explores her children's experience being the first to integrate Anderson Elementary in Kingstree, South Carolina.
